- After we have received all documents we will contact you
- Usually it takes us 1-2 months to find a matching family. We kindly ask our applicants to be flexible and to accept at minimum 2 children and to take care of (almost) any ages, to accept other areas in Austria than the biggest cities etc. Drivers and non smokers all welcomed!
- We have also a lot of families who need EU-aupairs only for 4- 6 months, during a winter or summer season. These families live in beautiful areas (winter-ski-ressort or big lakes) in Austria and they are working in a hotel or restaurant. Aupairs from these families have a lot of work, lot of fun and can earn a lot of money.
- Contact our 24/7 hotline
- Try to discuss the problems with the family
- If the problems cannot be solved we are searching a new family for the au-pair AND a new au-pair for the hostfamily.
- Provide a period of notice of minimum 1 week. During the period of notice the aupair works and fulfils all tasks and receives the pocket money.
- The au-pair MUST NOT leave a family until we have found a solution for the aupair. The residence permit and insurance is only valid as long as the aupair is employed at a family.
- If the aupair was always responsible and helpful and cared well for the children, we can find very quickly a new family.
- The “new” family will learn why the au-pair left the first family and it is very likely that the new family will call the first family to ask for a reference.
- The time, untill a new family is found is not always easy, but the result will be a successful replacement in the end.
Please note: If the aupair is from a NON-EU-Country, he/she needs a new residence permit (Aufenthaltstitel). The costs for the residence permit must be paid by the aupair again.
Being au-pair in Austria enables you to explore the foreign country and its culture and people.
As au-pair your are not only a guest. You are expected to help the family by doing housework and care for the children. An aupair has a serious responsibility!
